Grape GrazingIMPORTANT NOTICE - TUESDAY 10TH FEBRUARY, 2009Due to the continuing fire situation in the Yarra Valley and surrounding regions, the Yarra Valley Wine Growers Association
in consultation with the Police, CFA and other authorities has cancelled the 2009 Grape Grazing Festival. We understand that this may cause some disappointment, however, given the tragic circumstances the decision was unavoidable.
Thankyou to all of the customers who have expressed concern at the situation in the Yarra Valley. We wish to reassure customers, that it is business as usual at Rustic Charm at Wild Cattle Creek while the Warburton Highway area remains safe. The fires had no direct impact on the property and we will be open as usual over the weekend of Grape Grazing, with the proceeds from food and wine sales being donated to the Bushfire Appeal. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by these devastating bushfires. The Yarra Valley has been dealt a cruel blow with many tourism operators suffering losses. While we ask that people not travel to the Yarra Valley over this week, we do remind you that once the all clear is given, the Yarra Valley will need all the support it can get over the ensuing months. Regards The Team at Rustic Charm and Wild Cattle Creek |
