November 2007The vines are looking very leafy and the we know the lovely summer weather is approaching when the balcony is full of relaxed lunch guests sipping away Rose and enjoying Mainstream playing down in the recently completed gazebo. Just about every weekend sees another lovely couple having their ceremony in the gazebo and staying on with family and friends to celebrate their commitment with good food and good wine in a relaxing atmosphere. It has been an honour to deal with each couple and all of their families and being a part of their big day to ensure it runs without hiccups. We hope your wedding day has been memorable and for all of those booked in in the months ahead, we look forward to making your day special too! Cup Day in the VineyardJoin us for a fun day in the vineyard on Melbourne Cup Day, Tuesday November 6th. Starting at 11.00am, there will be a big screen, sweeps, fantastic food and wine and live music will be playing all afternoon. Our 2 course Lunch special will be available as well as the A la Carte menu. Come dressed for the occasion and enjoy Cup Day the Wandin way... Chef's Table Dinner #6 - SeafoodChef's Table Dinner #6 will be, by popular demand, Seafood. We have secured a source to fly direct from Queensland and George's creations are sure to please. It will be served table buffet style so a great selection of flavours is guaranteed. For $90 per person you can enjpy a sumptious seafood feast complimented by Wild Cattle Creek wines. Keep Friday January 25th free and organise a table of friends. Book early to avoid disappointment. New Years Eve This year, Mainstream will be playing and guaranteed to get you up and dancing. Get a table of friends together and come dressed in Black and Gold, for what is always a fantastic fun filled night. $90 per person includes 3 course dinner and beer, wine and soft drinks. We also have some accommodation available for those wishing to make a weekend of it. Book early. Cellar DoorSome limited quantities of 2006 Sauvignon Blanc are still available at $120 per dozen. We also have just in some cleanskin red at $99 per dozen. It is exclusively available at Cellar Door only, so drop in Wednesday to Sunday and also taste the full selection of Wild Cattle Creek wines: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, Shiraz and of course our Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay. |
