It has now been 2 years and we are continually evolving the business to meet customer demands! Our Chef's Table dinners in particular have been well received and we will continue with these throughout the year on a regular basis, with varying themes Sunday afternoon music will also continue throughout the year (including winter months!), so keep an eye on our website for those dates. We will be changing our operating hours as of February 1st, so please check below for changes. During this busy period, please remember to ring ahead to book your table to avoid disappointment. Chef's Table DinnersOur Chef's Table dinners were both a success, and George is now preparing something
special(and different for Rustic) for February 2nd 2007. An Indian
night will be held as our "farewell" to our recently qualified Chef
Dean, who will be heading off overseas in April. George has prepared a special menu featuring the cuisine of Northern and Southern indian cuisine, served in a buffet style. Valentines DayJoin us for our Valentines Day dinner on Wednesday February 14th. This is a special way to enjoy the company of that special person in your life with great food and good wine in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. $65 per person includes your dinner, a glass of Wild Cattle Creek sparkling upon arrival and a special gift. We also have available a Dinner,Bed & Breakfast package for $320 per couple. Overnight accommodation is available at Wallace House. Melbourne Food and Wine FestivalAs part of our participation in the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, the Age Good Food Guide Restaurant Express menu will be available for lunch from March 16th to March 30th. For $30 you can have a 2 course lunch with a glass of Wild Cattle Creek wine for $30. This event is always popular, so make sure you book ahead! Cellar Door SpecialsVisit our cellar door to try our new releases: the 2006 Sauvignon Blanc and also the 2006 Rose made from Merlot grapes this vintage. While you are there you can purchase 3 bottles for $50. Don’t forget the range of Yarra Valley Preserves that are also available and make great gifts. (unless by prior arrangement) Lunch: Wednesday to Monday Dinner: Wednesday to Saturday Wallace HouseFor a special treat you can enjoy a romantic Dinner Bed & Breakfast package at Wallace House. Fully self contained and conveniently located at the Wallace Road end of the property, it is just a short stroll down to the cellar door and restaurant. $300 per couple will get you overnight accommodation, fruit & cheese platter upon arrival and a 2 course dinner (or lunch). Over summer it has been a popular dessert – especially when served with some home made berry ice cream…good old fashioned jelly and ice cream with an adult flavour!
